Well, I don’t believe there is any evidence that lifting weights at a young age stunts growth. I started when I was 12 and I am 6′1 now. Lift light to start, I don’t think you are going to build much muscle at 15, and you don’t want to herniate anything at such a young age. So do endurance lifting, as you will need it for MMA anyways, and join a local boxing/karate/wrestling gym, which ever you want to start with.

Pure garbage that exercising stunts your growth. Look at all the tall guys that play football or basketball. They started when they were kids, and look how tall they are. 100 years ago exercise was nonexistent, because the kids worked all the time doing chores– and plowing fields or cutting wood is exercise. Just a myth. Do your martial arts. Plus there is no guarantee how tall you will be, you won’t know until you are fully grown.

its ok to start r-tard…..how does doing mixed martial arts affect ur height? i know football players grow into giants when ever they take wrestling or boxing………and btw weight does stunt your growth………its when you don’t stretch before you exercise and after………thatz how people get shorter
