Scout asked:
By intense I mean a camp where you can live and train for months at a time. I believe LA has been voted number one in the US (I’m sure opinions vary). I’ve heard great things about phuket…anyone with experience here?
Green Tea

afganistan, iraq etc etc.just dont expect to be treated nice when the military catches up with you though.
Cheng Hsin, Peter Ralston
Many camps and intensives that are a month or longer in Texas. I’d look it up… may not be the variety of intensity you have in mind, but than again, maybe its exactly the kind of intensity you should have in mind to really improve….
Up to you to find what fits you best - either way, its one of many options to consider.
Just another of many ideas to thing about.
Thailand, Middle East and Chute Boxe in Brazil.
Brazilian Top Team Chute Boxe Academy in Brazil
Miletich Fighting Systems in Davenport, IA is probably number 1
Team Quest in Portalnd, OR is another front runner as is Chute Boxe and Brazillian Top Team, both in Brazil.
Fedor came from Russian Top Team, but now fights out of Red Devil in Russia. Unfortunately, like The Pit, which produced Chuck Liddell, no other top fighters came from either of these camps.
American Top Team, Jackson’s in New Mexico, and American Kickboxing Academy are also good.
Chute Boxe and Brazilian top team have a bunch of the top fighters in the world. Militech Fighting Systems in Iowa also has a bunch of top tier fighters. Team Quest and American Top Team are pretty good too. And don’t forget the Red Devil Fight Club which spawned the best fighter in the world - Fedor Emelianenko.
